Panchkula, April 27
A Crime Branch team has arrested a state-level kabaddi player from Tarn Taran, Punjab, in a heroin trafficking case. ACP Crime Arvind Kamboj said the accused, identified as Rashpal, was held with 538 grams of heroin, valued in lakhs.
The accused, currently residing in Mohali, was involved in drug trafficking. Police said he has two prior criminal cases. Officials added that further police remand will be sought to identify and arrest other individuals linked to the racket.
