CEO of Mantrin and founder of The North News, Lalit K. Sharma, has been honoured at the BIG Impact Awards 2026 for his contribution as a media entrepreneur at a ceremony held in Mohali’s Radisson Red hotel on Saturday. The award was presented by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, who attended as the celebrity guest. The event was organised by 92.7 BIG FM and co-powered by Theon Pharmaceuticals Limited, aiming to recognise entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers under the theme “Embracing Unconventional Excellence.”
The ceremony, hosted by 92.7 BIG FM RJ Kashish, brought together prominent personalities from across the region.
Speaking at the event, Dhupia said Chandigarh feels like home to her and praised its food culture, highlighting her love for local delicacies such as kulche chole.
