In a major political development, former MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon is likely to be named the next Punjab BJP chief, according to sources. Dhillon is considered a close confidant of former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. However, official confirmation is still awaited. When asked by the media during his participation in a local event, Dhillon expressed ignorance about the development. He said that he is a dedicated party worker, has always worked for the party, and will continue to do so.
