Punjab Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Durgiana Mandir in Amritsar. After paying obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib, Chief Secretary Sinha performed the traditional ‘Parikrama’ around the holy place. He also listened to the Gurbani Kirtan. After this, he was honoured by the SGPC at the Information Office. After paying obeisance at Sri Durgiana Temple on Sunday, Sinha was also honoured by the Mandir Committee.
Chief Secretary said that after assuming the responsibility of the new post, he has come to take blessings from ‘Guru Ghar’ to express his gratitude. He said that almighty God has blessed him to serve the people of Punjab with sincerity and dedication. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Sakshi Sahni, SDM Mankanwal Singh Chahal and DCP Harpreet Singh Mander were also present.
