An FIR has been registered in connection with the death of Haryana Police ASI Sandeep Lather, who died by suicide earlier this week. The case has been lodged at Sadar Police Station in Rohtak.
According to the police, four people have been named in the FIR, including Amneet P. Kumar, an IAS officer and the wife of late IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar. Her brother, who is an MLA, and Puran Kumar’s gunman, Sushil, have also been booked.
The development comes amid growing public attention on the suicide case involving senior IPS officer Y. Puran Kumar. On Wednesday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s OSD Virender Singh visited Ladhot village in Badhkalsa, Rohtak, where the incident occurred.
Police officials said the investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken based on evidence.
