Three people were shot dead in the parking lot of a resort on Morni-Thapli road in Panchkula, Haryana, on Sunday night. After celebrating a birthday, the victims were leaving the resort when unknown attackers fired several rounds at their SUV. Police identified the deceased as Vicky and Vipin, both from Delhi, and Nia from Hisar. Vicky, who was celebrating his 30th birthday, had a criminal history and was facing charges in multiple cases. The Haryana Police said that investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence while the motive remains unclear, an old rivalry has not been ruled out.
