Punjab Police, acting on a tip-off, dismantled a criminal network allegedly directed by Canada-based Prabh, detaining three operatives and seizing a cache of illegal arms in Amritsar, Punjab’s Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said in his post on X (formerly Twitter). The operation, led by the Amritsar Rural Police’s CIA team, yielded four pistols, six magazines, and nine live cartridges. The Police have registered an FIR and initiated a detailed probe to track further associates linked to this network. Punjab Police reiterated its focus on cracking down on organized crime and illegal arms trafficking, aiming to trace all connections within these networks to enhance public security.
