New Delhi, November 21
An Indian Air Force (IAF) Tejas fighter aircraft crashed during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show on Friday, killing the pilot, the IAF said in a statement. The aircraft went down while performing a manoeuvre, and the pilot sustained fatal injuries. “The IAF deeply regrets the loss of life and stands with the bereaved family in this time of grief,” the statement added. A court of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the crash.
