Following the blast in New Delhi, a red alert has been issued across all districts of Punjab. Police Commissioners and Senior Superintendents of Police have been directed to remain on high alert.
Security has been intensified, with police deployment at sensitive and vulnerable locations across the state. Checking of vehicles and monitoring of suspicious individuals have been stepped up as part of precautionary measures to ensure public safety.
