Lucknow, October 18
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday issued a strong warning to Pakistan, saying the country must now realise that “every inch of its land is within the reach” of BrahMos. Speaking at an event, the Defence Minister referred to Operation Sindoor, describing it as “just a trailer” that demonstrated India’s advanced strike capabilities.
“That trailer alone made Pakistan realise that if India can give birth to Pakistan, then when the time comes…,” he said, stopping short of completing the sentence, while adding, “I don’t need to tell you further, you all are wise.”
Speaking at BrahMos Manufacturing facility in Lucknow, Rajnath Singh said the operation had taken BrahMos “far beyond just a trial,” and established “practical proof” of its effectiveness. “From scientists to the common man, from cities to villages, everyone knows the power of BrahMos,” he said.
He added that the successful demonstration had boosted national confidence. “Our adversaries will no longer be able to escape BrahMos,” he declared.
