Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Diwas, honoring the architect of India’s Constitution and a champion of social justice. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Modi said “On Mahaparinirvan Diwas, we bow to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution and a beacon of social justice. Dr. Ambedkar’s tireless fight for equality and human dignity continues to inspire generations. Today, as we remember his contributions, we also reiterate our commitment to fulfilling his vision.” The Prime Minister also shared a photograph from his visit to Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai earlier this year, a site deeply associated with Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy.
