Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Himachal Diwas . In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister described the hill state as a “Devbhoomi” with a distinct identity shaped by its traditions and cultural heritage. He also praised the people for their hard work, humility and strong sense of duty.
Prime Minister Modi also wished prosperity and a brighter future for families across the state. Himachal Diwas commemorates the formation of the state in 1948, and is observed each year with celebrations highlighting its history and culture.
