Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ukraine on Friday, marking a historic visit to the war-torn nation. During his visit, PM Modi is expected to discuss perspectives on peacefully resolving the ongoing conflict with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This visit follows nearly six weeks after his trip to Russia, where he engaged in discussions regarding the escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Notably, this is the first time an Indian Prime Minister has visited Ukraine, the NDTV reported.
PM Modi arrived in Ukraine after completing a “productive” two-day visit to Poland, where he engaged in extensive discussions with Polish leaders. The Prime Minister traveled to Kyiv from Poland aboard the ‘Rail Force One’ train.
” PM @narendramodi concludes a productive visit to Poland, setting a new milestone in bilateral relations. This high-level Prime Ministerial visit after four decades will widen and deepen India-Poland relations,” Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, said in his post on X previously known as Twitter.
