In a significant breakthrough, Punjab’s Counter Intelligence and Ludhiana Police have dismantled a Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) module led by Harjit Singh, known as Laddi, and Sabi, both based abroad, according to Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav. The operation has resolved the petrol bomb attacks targeting Shiv Sena leaders, including the October 16 assault on Yogesh Bakshi’s residence and the November 2 attack at Harkirat Singh Khurana’s home in Ludhiana’s Model Town Extension.
The Police arrested four individuals and seized a motorcycle and two mobile phones used for surveillance. “Investigations are ongoing to explore backward and forward linkages, with further arrests expected,” said DGP Yadav.
Harjit Singh, alias Laddi, is also wanted in connection with the murder of Vikas Prabhakar in Nangal, Punjab, and carries a Rs. 10 Lakh bounty, as announced by the National Investigation Agency.
