Paytm has announced a significant leadership change with Manmeet Singh Dhody stepping down as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to take on a new role as ‘AI Fellow.’ In this capacity, he will spearhead initiatives focused on artificial intelligence (AI) innovation within the company. The new CTO, Deependra Singh Rathore, was appointed as per the exchange filing by One 97 Communications Limited (OCL), the parent company of the Paytm brand, The Hindustan Times reported.
Rathore has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector and has been with Paytm for more than eight years. He began his journey with the company in January 2016 as a General Manager of technology for Paytm’s Payment Gateway Business, the news outlet said.
