‘Pardhan’ emerges as a standout Chaupal original, bringing campus politics to Punjabi OTT

Punjabi OTT platform Chaupal has received an encouraging response for its latest original series ‘Pardhan’, which premiered exclusively on the platform on June 18, 2026. The six-episode series has attracted viewers with its portrayal of student politics, power struggles, friendships and ambition.

Directed by Amit Prasher and written by Vivek Saini, ‘Pardhan’ explores the lesser-seen world of college campus elections in Punjabi entertainment. The series follows a group of young individuals whose lives become intertwined as they navigate leadership contests, shifting alliances, personal ambitions, and the challenges that come with power.

The series examines broader questions about ambition and leadership, including how far individuals can go in pursuit of success, how friendships are affected by power struggles, and what sacrifices are made in the pursuit of authority.

Featuring an ensemble cast including Karan Sehmbi, Aatish, Tarlok Singh, Sunny Kahlon, Navdeep Bajwa, Priyanka Khera and Karman Kaur Miglani, the series brings depth and authenticity to the story. The performances add a contemporary, relatable dimension to the narrative centered on youth politics.
