New Delhi, May 1
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday delivered a stern message to terrorists and their backers, stating that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country would respond forcefully to any act of terror — whether from Kashmir or regions affected by left-wing extremism. “Let it be clear — no one will be spared,” Shah said, speaking at a public event. He asserted that the government is committed to uprooting terrorism from “every inch” of Jammu and Kashmir and beyond.
In a strongly worded address, Shah said that those who believe cowardly attacks are a symbol of success should remember this is the Modi government, one that promises justice and retribution. “It is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country, and we will accomplish that,” he said.
The Home Minister also emphasized growing global solidarity with India in its battle against terrorism. “Not just 140 crore Indians, but the entire world is standing with us. All countries have united to support India in this fight,” he said. Reaffirming the government’s position, Shah concluded: “Until terrorism is completely wiped out, our fight will continue. Those responsible will face the consequences.”
