Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday received a birthday greeting call from his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to strengthen the India–Greece strategic partnership. The two prime ministers welcomed progress in areas including trade, investment, technology, shipping, defence, security, connectivity and people-to-people links.
Mitsotakis expressed Greece’s support for the early conclusion of an India–EU free trade agreement and for the success of the AI Impact Summit that India will host in 2026. The leaders also exchanged views on regional and global developments of shared interest and agreed to stay in close contact. Modi thanked Mitsotakis for his warm wishes.
