New Delhi, March 25
Anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal registered 389 complaints in 2025-26 (till February this year), Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Wednesday.
In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, the Lokpal disposed of 336 complaints this financial year.
In the same FY, 292 complaints were registered, and 260 were disposed of, the minister of state for personnel said.
Singh was responding to the query seeking the number of complaints lodged with the Lokpal in the last five years.
According to his reply, during 2023-24, Lokpal registered 166 complaints and disposed of 16.
During 2022-23, 320 complaints were registered, and 316 were disposed of, while in the previous FY, 147 of 149 complaints filed were disposed of, he added.
