Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu met Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda in New Delhi to seek central support for the state’s development projects. Sukhu urged the Union minister to help expedite key proposals related to Himachal Pradesh and raise them at the central level. The two leaders also held detailed discussions on strengthening the state’s health sector. The Chief minister sought assistance for health infrastructure projects and support under the Ayushman Bharat programme, aimed at expanding access to affordable healthcare. Nadda assured the state government of all possible assistance from the Centre.
