Microblogging platform X experienced a brief global outage on Wednesday, affecting thousands of users worldwide. The disruption lasted a few minutes, during which users encountered the “something went wrong, try reloading” message as pages failed to load, according to the news outlet India Today.
Outage tracking website Downdetector.com reported 915 outages in India at 9:15 am. In the US, nearly 36,000 outages were recorded at 11:15 pm ET (8:45 am IST). The website also reported over 3,300 outages in Canada and 1,600 in the UK as of 11:20 pm ET (8:50 am IST). The cause of the outage remains unknown, as per the news outlet.
