The Government College Dharamshala will host the Virasat 2026 cultural festival on April 25, bringing together student teams from several universities across Himachal Pradesh.
The event will feature competitions in group dance, singing, declamation, and a mad show. Students from Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh University, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur, along with private universities from Kangra district, will participate. The program will be held at the college auditorium.
College Principal Professor Rakesh Pathania said such cultural events also contribute to NAAC ranking evaluations and are useful for future accreditation processes. He said preparations for Virasat 2026 have been completed.
He added that the festival will provide students with a platform to showcase their talent and encourage cultural and creative expression on campus.
