Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday in Moscow during the 21st session of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Military and Military Cooperation (IRIGC-M&MTC). The Defence Minister conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to President Putin and discussed various aspects of bilateral defense cooperation. Both leaders emphasized the strong potential of the partnership and the benefits of joint efforts.
“Friendship between our countries is higher than the highest mountain and deeper than the deepest ocean,” Singh remarked, reaffirming India’s unwavering support for Russia.
