Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday urged newly inducted Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officers to uphold integrity and dedication in their service, ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the grassroots. Addressing the officers at his official residence, Mann congratulated them on their selection and encouraged them to serve with a sense of mission.
The Chief Minister emphasized the officers’ role in assisting the underprivileged and ensuring effective governance. He called on them to contribute to good governance, efficient delivery of public services, and the timely implementation of welfare schemes. With their experience and expertise, Mann said, they could play a key role in the state’s progress.
Mann urged the officers to be approachable and humane in their dealings, setting a high standard for public service. He reiterated his government’s vision of a “Rangla Punjab” and welcomed the new officers as part of the team working toward this goal.
