Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is expected to visit India on August 18 to take part in Special Representative (SR) level talks on the border issue, sources say.
The visit comes months after National Security Adviser Ajit Doval travelled to China in December last year for similar SR-level discussions.
The talks are aimed at addressing longstanding boundary disputes and easing tensions between the two neighbours.
