The situation along India’s northern border with China remains sensitive but stable, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said on Monday. “Patrolling has started in Depsang and Demchok. Additionally, grazing activities have resumed, and our deployment remains balanced and robust,” Dwivedi said. The remarks come amid ongoing efforts to maintain stability in the region following tensions in recent years.
