Dharamshala , June 12
A major accident was narrowly avoided after a private bus traveling from Dharamshala to Palampur reportedly suffered brake failure near the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Palampur Road on Friday.
According to initial reports, around 15 passengers were on board the bus at the time of the incident. Some passengers sustained minor injuries, but no serious casualties were reported.
The bus reportedly lost control after its brakes failed. However, the driver’s timely action and presence of mind helped prevent a major tragedy. During the incident, the bus collided with a small goods-carrying tempo, causing damage to the vehicle.
