Kullu, June 3
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State In-charge Shrikant Sharma visited Kullu on Tuesday, where he was given a warm welcome by party workers and leaders at Kullu–Manali Airport under the leadership of District BJP President Amit Sood.
Senior party leaders, including Vice President Bihari Lal Sharma, MLA Surender Shourie, former candidate Narotam Thakur, spokesperson Akhilesh Kapoor, media in-charge Danvendra Singh, and Bhim Sen, were present during the reception.
From the airport, Sharma proceeded directly to the historic Bijli Mahadev Temple, where he offered prayers and sought blessings. While addressing his experience, he highlighted Kullu’s deep-rooted spiritual heritage and said that the region represents a remarkable blend of devotion and natural beauty.
He added that visiting the temple provides a sense of peace and spiritual fulfillment, while the surrounding Himalayan landscape refreshes the mind and soul. Sharma appreciated the region’s cultural and religious significance and praised its role in preserving India’s traditional values.
