Meta Platforms Inc. reported that while most issues affecting Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads have been resolved, 1% of the outage remains unresolved. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Meta stated, “Thanks for bearing with us! We are 99% of the way there—just doing some last checks. We apologize to those who’ve been affected by the outage.”
Earlier, acknowledging the disruption, Meta wrote on X, “We are aware that a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.”
The outage affected users globally, with Meta assuring that full restoration efforts are ongoing.
