Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his enthusiasm for India’s investment potential during a recent meeting with Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung. Modi noted that India is an ideal destination for investments, emphasizing the significant benefits that large-scale projects, like Hyundai’s new plant in Pune, will bring to Maharashtra, which he described as the country’s economic powerhouse.
During their discussion, Modi and Chung explored topics related to the future of mobility, highlighting Hyundai’s priority in deepening its collaboration with India, driven by the country’s diverse market and reformist policies.
Chung, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), invited Modi to the upcoming inauguration of the Hyundai plant in Pune, calling it a “game-changing investment” for Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL). He expressed gratitude to both the Government of India and the Maharashtra government for their support in establishing the facility.
