Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday condoled the sad and untimely demise of Madhumita, the wife of MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap, who passed away a brief illness. She was 53 and is survived by husband and two daughters. In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Madhumita ji, who was the pillar of strength for her family and a source of inspiration behind the success of her husband. He said that it is a huge loss for the society in general and for the family in particular. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Madhumita ji was a pious soul, who supported her husband MLA Kunwar Vijay Partap for rendering exemplary service to mankind both as a Police officer and now as an elected representative of people.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family members, relatives and friends to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
