Srinagar, June 17
Five people, including four tourists, were injured when a tourist bus overturned in the Tangmarg area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.
The accident took place in the main market area of Tangmarg, a popular transit point near the renowned ski resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir.
According to officials, the injured included four tourists travelling in the vehicle and the local driver. Emergency responders and local authorities rushed to the spot following the incident.
All five injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials said their condition was stable.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known. Authorities are monitoring the situation, and further details are awaited.
