Shimla, June 10
The third day of the International Summer Festival 2026 will feature a wide range of cultural, literary, sports and entertainment activities, offering visitors and residents an engaging experience across various venues in Shimla.
According to the festival schedule, the final round of Shyamala Manthan will be held at Gaiety Theatre along with a Mushaira, Kavi Sammelan, and the staging of the play Man Ke Bhanwar. Volleyball matches under the ongoing tournament will continue at the Municipal Corporation Ground in Sanjauli.
Several community events have also been planned, including the My Healthy Baby Show at Rani Jhansi Park and the My Champion Dog Show near the Police Assistance Booth. A Zumba dance session will be organized in front of the Reporting Room, while visitors can enjoy attractions such as Statue Man performances, character displays, and a flower show.
The cultural segment of the festival will showcase performances by artists from the North Zone Cultural Center and the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, featuring traditional art forms and cultural heritage from their respective regions.
The evening cultural program will also feature performances by renowned folk artists from Himachal Pradesh, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the day is expected to be the Star Night event featuring Nati King Kuldeep Sharma. The popular folk singer will entertain local residents and tourists from across the country with his musical performance.
Organizers expect a large turnout as the festival continues to attract visitors through its blend of cultural showcases, competitions, and family-oriented activities.
