Sonipat, May 25
A man was arrested for allegedly murdering a couple and another woman with an iron rod in Haryana’s Kundli area, police said on Monday.
The accused, identified as Brahmprakash, allegedly attacked the victims inside a residential society on Sunday night. The deceased have been identified as Vijay, aged around 50, his wife, and another woman. All three were residents of the same housing society where the accused also lived.
Police said the accused was taken into custody soon after the incident. Preliminary investigation suggests that Brahmprakash was allegedly addicted to alcohol. However, officials said the exact motive behind the killings is yet to be established.
“The exact reasons which led the accused to commit the crime are under investigation,” a police official said.
Police teams are continuing the investigation and questioning the accused to determine the circumstances that led to the triple murder.
