Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House on Tuesday and discussed a range of issues related to the state, according to sources. The meeting lasted for more than an hour, they said. Sources added that Shiv Sena MPs, led by the party’s Parliamentary Party leader Shrikant Shinde, also met the prime minister after the talks. No official details of the discussions were immediately made public.
