Chandigarh, August 21
Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan on Wednesday. He was joined by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Deputy Chief Ministers Premchand Bairwa and Diya Kumari, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel. Additionally, Kiran Choudhry, a Congress-turned-BJP leader, also submitted her nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha from Haryana. She was accompanied by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and several of his cabinet colleagues during the filing.
