The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has said that the recent incident involving one of its aircraft Tejas during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show was an “isolated occurrence” and resulted from exceptional circumstances. In a statement issued to stock exchanges, the state-owned defence manufacturer said the episode would have no bearing on its business operations, financial performance or upcoming deliveries.
The HAL added that it was extending full cooperation to agencies investigating the matter and would keep stakeholders updated on any significant developments. The company described the clarification as being “for information and record”.
