Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday paid obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on the occasion of Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. In a post shared on X, Chief Minister Mann said it was a blessing to bow before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib. “I felt honoured to listen to the divine Gurbani Kirtan and meet the Nanak Naam Leva Sangat,” he wrote.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace, social harmony and unity across Punjab, urging that the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji continue to guide society towards compassion and brotherhood.
