Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has described former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s life and work as “a beacon of simplicity, honesty and dedication” while inaugurating a new research centre and library in his name. Speaking on Dr. Manmohan Singh’s 93rd birthday on Friday, Rahul said Dr. Manmohan Singh Research Centre and Library at Indira Bhawan in New Delhi would serve both as a tribute to the veteran leader and as a guide for future generations. “This centre is not just a tribute to his legacy but a reminder for future generations of what true service to the nation looks like,” Gandhi wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
