Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is confident that its candidate, CP Radhakrishnan, will make an “outstanding” Vice President of India. Modi, accompanied by ministers, party colleagues and NDA leaders, joined Radhakrishnan on Wednesday when he filed his nomination papers in New Delhi.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Prime Minister wrote: “Along with ministers, party colleagues and NDA leaders, accompanied Thiru CP Radhakrishnan as he filed his nomination for the post of Vice President of India. The NDA family is confident that he will be an outstanding VP and will enrich our journey towards national progress.”
