Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Port Louis on Tuesday for a two-day state visit, receiving a ceremonial welcome from his Mauritian counterpart, Navin Ramgoolam. In a post on X, Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the warm reception, calling the visit an opportunity to strengthen ties. He is set to meet President Dharam Gokhool and address the Indian community.
The two nations will sign agreements on trade, capacity building, and financial crime cooperation. Modi will also attend Mauritius’ national day celebrations as chief guest.
